It is not for the first time that we refer to history and traditions in collaboration with Bank of Azerbaijan. Last time it was the golden Declaration of Independence of Azerbaijan. This time we turn to the famous historical building of Sheki Khan’s Palace. Participation in this kind of projects related to history is very exciting and useful especially for us as we are creative people. We have found a lot in common with our culture in wall paintings and ornaments of the palace and historic events. We have covered the entire perimeter by depicting in silver the ancestors’ heroic deeds, adding a little bit of peace to military campaigns. There is a gilded pomegranate twig, which symbolizes prosperity, growing in the middle of the composition. We placed the image on the wooden base shaped as a buta, i.e. a traditional Eastern almondlike pattern, giving an antiquity effect to the wood.
